Zero-spend OPM: The Strongest still climbs if gems are payroll. Here is the hourly grind rate, what it buys, and where paid Fund starts to matter.
I keep watching SEA players clear every daily, open the mall, and freeze. Paying is faster. Grind still has to move the account after the free loop is done, and the stall that matters is the stamina-plus-dupe point where unpaid play stops buying ranks.

What a full F2P day actually pays
Clear the standard loop and you can take 850+ gems a day without buying Fund.
Daily quests are 120. Ads are 250 if you sit through them. Diamond Arena is the one I will not skip: 200+ gems a day once the rank locks, and you do not have to keep climbing after that. Live Clash is 100. Club activity is 50–60. Facebook share 50. Home requests 50. Saitama missions 30.
Weekly modes dump another 680 to 980+ on top. Tournament is 400. Club Contests run about 180+ across three days, and you need Level 20 just to join a club. Endless Battle Zone swings 50–350. Saitama Investigation is 10–100. Add the week up the way the diamond guides do and you land around 7,380+ gems, which is roughly 30,000 a month if you do not ghost the weekly modes.
Spread 850 daily gems across 24 clock hours and you are looking at about 35 gems per real-world hour, including the hours you are asleep. A 7,380-gem week is about 44 gems per clock hour. The play block is not 24 hours long. You slam dailies in one sitting, then you log for Arena ticks and club. The hourly number that matters is calendar yield, because stamina regen and idle drops keep leaking in whether you are in a stage or not.
Friends feed that leak. You can hold 50 actives and swap stamina every day. Leave those gifts unclaimed and you are choosing to be poorer.
I line the income up like this before I spend a single gem:
| Source | Gems | Cadence |
|---|---|---|
| Daily quests | 120 | Daily |
| Ads | 250 | Daily |
| Arena Diamond tier | 200+ | Daily |
| Live Clash | 100 | Daily |
| Club activity | 50–60 | Daily |
| Facebook share, home requests, Saitama missions | 50 + 50 + 30 | Daily |
| Weekly Tournament | 400 | Weekly |
| Club Contests | 180+ | Weekly, three days |
| Endless Battle Zone | 50–350 | Weekly |
| Saitama Investigation | 10–100 | Weekly |
Miss Diamond or ads and the 850+ floor collapses. Miss Tournament and the week drops by 400. The hourly rate only exists if those two stay green.

Four stamina buys. Then you stop
Early account XP lives on sweeps. The F2P sweet spot is four stamina purchases a day: 25, then 25, then 50, then 50. One hundred fifty gems. When the next button jumps to 90, you walk away. I would rather sit on gems than feed that 90-gem refresh. It is a trap wearing a progress bar.
150 gems a day is 4,500 a month just to keep the early curve moving. A 30,000-gem month can absorb that. An impulsive banner month cannot. Natural regen plus those 50 friend gifts is the unpaid half of the plan. Unpaid vitality plus four cheap buys is the entire early engine. After that you are paying luxury prices for the same sweep.
Campaign, arena, and heroes on that yield
Campaign eats stamina. That is the job. Four cheap refills plus friends will shove story and player level hard until the brake at 80.
Arena is not a stamina sink. It is an income lock. Get Diamond. Collect 200+ a day. Stop sweating the ladder unless you enjoy getting farmed. Climbing past Diamond is ego. Holding Diamond is rent.
Heroes are where F2P accounts look stuck even when they are still moving. Each banner lets you buy 36 tickets at 220 gems. That is 7,920. Two banners a month — a new LSSR and a comeback — means 72 tickets and 15,840 gems if you max both.
I would max one banner I actually need and skip the other. Maxing both every month is how a 30k month becomes a zero-leftover month.
Black Shuriken packs sit in the mall at 1,888 gems each, hard cap of two per month. 3,776 gems. Seventy Black Shurikens for LSSR Keepsakes is a 12-month time gate if you only buy those mall packs. Paid Fund does not delete the monthly purchase limit. It just lets you fund the 3,776 without cannibalizing tickets.
Claw Machine Keepsake events want a 16,800 gem safety reserve before you touch them. If you cannot guarantee the full draw, you do not enter. Partial claw pulls are how unpaid accounts bleed out.
If you convert paid currency at all, convert it into Fund and then into the sinks that have hard monthly caps, not into panic 90-gem stamina. Current SEA Fund packs for One Punch Man: The Strongest live on the product page. I am not printing a pack price that will be wrong next week.
Line the monthly walls against that 30,000-gem paycheck:
| Sink | Cost | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Daily stamina buys (4x) | 150 gems / day (4,500 / mo) | Four refills at 25, 25, 50, 50; stop before 90 |
| Monthly Black Tickets (2 banners) | 15,840 gems / mo | 72 tickets at 220 each |
| Black Shuriken packs | 3,776 gems / mo | Two packs at 1,888, mall cap of 2 |
| Keepsake Claw Machine reserve | 16,800 gems | Safety pile for a guaranteed full draw, not a monthly bill |
4,500 + 15,840 + 3,776 is already 24,116. A clean 30,000 month covers stamina, both banners, and shurikens with a thin cushion. It does not also cover a claw event unless you skipped a banner or saved across months. 5,884 leftover does not buy a 16,800 claw. Do the arithmetic before you tap the machine.

The Level 80 stall and the SSR-dupe wall
Level 80 is the first wall that is not a shop. After that, sweeping for player XP becomes a bad gem trade. Stamina priority shifts to Nightmare Conqueror Challenge gear instead of broad leveling sweeps.
That is the stamina wall. Not “out of stamina.” Wrong stamina job.
The second wall is copies. SSR and LSSR dupes. Keepsakes. Black Shuriken. You can still log in. You can still farm gear. Campaign clear speed and your Arena floor stop jumping because the next star costs a banner you cannot force every week.
Paid gems start mattering here, not in mid-campaign. Fund is the SEA premium currency. You exchange it for gems or spend it on Elite Vouchers, Daily Coin Supplies, and Weekly Coin Packs. Extra stamina from a top-up does not flatten the Level 80 curve. It buys more Nightmare runs and faster banner access. VIP perks ride along. The unpaid account still climbs if the monthly budget is sacred. It just climbs sideways into gear while the paid account stars a unit you are still waiting on.
I would not top up to smash story. I would top up only if a banner I already saved for is about to leave and the gem pile is short.
F2P, light spend, and heavy: three different bets
F2P
Four stamina buys. Diamond Arena every day. Ads, even when they are boring. One banner focus a month, not two, unless the leftover after 4,500 stamina and 3,776 shurikens still covers 15,840. Never open a Claw Machine under 16,800. Accept the 12-month shuriken gate. Grind still moves you through campaign and into Nightmare gear. It does not print LSSR stars on demand.
Light spender
Buy Fund when a must-pull banner would force you to skip shurikens or break the claw reserve. Use it to keep the 15,840 ticket month and the 3,776 shuriken month in the same calendar. Do not buy the 90-gem stamina tier. Do not drip small packs into random mall junk. If you buy Fund on the SEA storefront, convert it into the capped sinks, then stop.
Heavy
You still cannot buy a third Black Shuriken pack. Money accelerates banners, vouchers, coin packs, and VIP. It does not delete the keepsake calendar. Dumping Fund into 90-gem stamina after Level 80 just buys more of a sweep that stopped mattering. Bank a 16,800 claw reserve and slam one featured banner instead of refreshing vitality for leftover player XP.
What a legitimate Fund top-up asks for
A real checkout asks for the stuff the game already shows you: server, character name, maybe an ID you can screenshot from the profile panel. It takes you through a normal payment page. It does not need your game password. It does not need the SMS code that lands on your phone. It does not need you to share your screen or “verify” by logging in on someone else’s device.
A scam asks for the login. Or the binder code. Or a remote-access app. Or a deal that only works if you pay a stranger off-platform. If the person messaging you cannot point at a public product page, they are not selling Fund.
I send people to the live OPM: The Strongest Fund page and tell them to match the character name before they pay. I will not list payment brands here. Those change by country. The checkout in front of you is the only list that is true today.

FAQ
How many gems can an active F2P player earn per week?
About 7,380 if the daily loop and the weekly modes all get done. That is daily quests, ads, Diamond Arena, Live Clash, club ticks, plus Tournament, Club Contests, Endless Battle Zone, and Saitama Investigation. Stretch that across a month and you are near 30,000 gems to split between stamina, tickets, and shurikens.
How much stamina should I buy each day before the wall?
Exactly four times. 25, 25, 50, 50. One hundred fifty gems. Stop the instant the next refresh is 90. That pace carries player EXP to Level 80. After 80 the same gems belong on Nightmare gear, not on another sweep for levels that barely move.
What should F2P gems be prioritized for each month?
Black Tickets first if a banner is actually for your team, up to 15,840 for a full 72-ticket month. Black Shuriken packs second, 3,776. Park whatever is left toward a 16,800 claw reserve. Stamina’s 4,500 is the cost of staying on schedule, not a flex spend.
Does spending money bypass the stamina wall completely?
No. Paid Fund turns into extra stamina, vouchers, and resource packs, but past Level 80 those extra stamina gems go to Nightmare gear, not cheap account levels. Money accelerates banner access and VIP. It does not make player XP cheap again. F2P accounts stay competitive on a core team only if the monthly gem budget stays strict.
Is Diamond Arena worth the time if I hate PvP?
Yes. Two hundred plus gems a day is a fifth of the 850+ floor. You do not have to keep climbing. Park the rank, collect the payout, leave. Skipping Diamond to “save time” is how a healthy week becomes a poor one.
Can I rush LSSR Keepsakes if I only buy the mall packs?
Not in a hurry. Two Black Shuriken packs a month is the cap. Seventy shurikens at that pace is a 12-month gate. Fund can pay for the packs. It cannot buy a third pack. Plan the keepsake, or stop staring at it.
My call if you are still staring at the mall
Stay unpaid through Level 80. Four stamina buys. Diamond locked. Ads watched. One banner you mean to build, not every sparkle on the calendar. That hourly 35-to-44 gem drip is real if the chores get done. It buys campaign, a Diamond floor, and a core team. It does not buy every LSSR star and a keepsake in the same season.
The stall is not “F2P cannot play.” The stall is Level 80 turning stamina into a gear job, plus a dupe wall that only tickets and a 12-month shuriken clock can chip. That is where I would spend, and only as a light spender covering a banner I already planned. Heavy spend that feeds the 90-gem stamina button after 80 is paying to lose slower.
If the account is short on a banner that actually changes the team, convert Fund and get out. If you are topping up because dailies felt long today, close the mall. Grind still moves this game. It just stops moving the parts people like to screenshot.
